The Economic Development Corporation of Yehud-Monosson was established in 1996 as a municipal corporation wholly owned by the Yehud-Monosson Municipality. The corporation acts as the entrepreneurial and executive arm of the municipality and serves as a professional and competent entity.
The main objectives of the corporation are to plan and manage projects throughout the city in the areas of construction, infrastructure development, establishment of public and educational buildings, commercial zones and cultural, sports and recreational centers, implementation of economic initiatives to promote the city and encourage entrepreneurship and economic and commercial development that provide a platform for creating jobs, commerce and growth.
In addition, the Corporation promotes large-scale municipal projects that generate profits for the municipal system and serve as a lever for promoting the city at all levels, affecting the residents and their quality of life in an efficient and professional manner. These projects are carried out using municipal or public resources located within the boundaries of the municipality.
